Who owns this store full of cheese?

"I am Esther. Thanks to help from friends, I was able to start my own business in 2013. This way I can share the love for pure food with all Tilburgers."

What makes the Kaaszaak so unique?

"The specialties in our store are mainly farmhouse cheeses from the Netherlands and abroad. Farmhouse cheeses are artisan cheeses made on the farm from their own cattle and from raw unprocessed milk. Pure nature! Furthermore, we have all kinds of delicacies to make the drinks board complete. Local products from small-scale entrepreneurs. All equally delicious."

What do people come to your store for?

"They mainly come to spoil themselves with delicious and good food. Here you can find the best cheeses for the snack board or on bread. We also have customized gift packages or corporate gifts."

What is typically Tilburgian about your business?

"We try to promote products from local entrepreneurs as much as possible. For example, Tilburg beers. Or the peanut butter from Zoete Moed and the honey from the Stadsimker Beezz. We also work closely with other local entrepreneurs like Pig & Rye, LocHal and Locals."
