BijdeT Mix & Match store has recently opened in het Dwaalgebied. In this store in the Nieuwlandstraat you can get the tastiest tea varieties and blends, all of which are organic and pure. Owner Selma knows a lot about tea and makes all the teablends herself.

This store is the perfect place to score a gift or to buy something for yourself. Time for Ticket to Tilburg to have a cup of tea with Selma.

Who is that behind the counter?

"I am Selma Vrinds, crazy about tea, chocolate and products that are made in a traditional way in a small company or with a story. Creator of the product label Bijdethee for years and now the owner of BijdeT Mix & Match Store. Always looking for beautiful products. You will always see me in the store, I make the tea to taste, design the labels, make the packaging and assemble the gifts myself. We have personal gifts, such as thank-yous, custom gifts I make on commission. We also have a place for other makers and discoverers of a beautiful product or label, cooperation and connection is very important to me."

Advice on a tea blend, a gift for the teacher, special occasions, pregnancy gifts, you name it, together we make something beautiful."

"Mixing & Matching that's what the BijdeT Store is all about. Mix & Match a tea to suit your taste, smell and color that is the power of Bijdethee. So you can create your favorite tea blend at my store. All herbs, fruits and spices are organic and so are the basic teas. Everything is made on a natural basis, no E-numbers and no sweeteners or colorants. You choose which ingredients suit you and I make sure the blend is mixed to taste and proportion. For children we have a special children's tea line, which was developed together with children and myself. And children can also have their favorite flavor mixed in my store. And did you know that you can just taste the tea, how nice is that."

Do you also have something that is typically from Tilburg?

"Yes, 'Tilburgs proat water' a delicious tea blend that I made especially for the store. And myself of course! Feel free to come and taste the tea, take a look or have a chat."
