Melkveebedrijf Tuerlings
Pieter Tuerlings and his family are the sixth generation to operate this farm. Over the years, they have specialised more in dairy farming. In recent years, they have been moving more towards the small scale of a mixed farm again.
Biodiversity
Contributing to biodiversity is important to Tuerlings. They do this through flower borders, herb-rich grassland, bee hives, a hedgehog house, nesting boxes, a bumblebee hive, ample yard planting and hedges. They are also self-sufficient in terms of electricity through solar panels, heat recovery and a pre-cooler at milk/cooling plant. They also have partially herb-rich grassland, fodder beets and field beans.
Duingoed
He is also affiliated to Brabants Duingoed. A group of proud dairy farmers around the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. They have joined forces to make regional and distinctive cheese together from the best milk they produce themselves.

They like to reach consumers directly from the farm with three farm vending machines, which are open 24/7. They also have a soft ice cream vending machine, where the ice cream is partly made from their own cow's milk. In the vending machines, they sell different types of Brabants Duingoed Cheese, honey from their own beehives and 100% fresh apple/pear juice from fruit trees in their own yard. You can also buy farm-fresh eggs from their own chickens from the mobile chicken cart.
