Cute, beautiful and funny goodies. At Het Pastorie Lokaal you will find all kinds of cheerful goodies. Nice and accessible and something for everyone. From a Tilburg sweater, jewelry to a pair of soxs, a bird lamp, climabottle, zwitscherbox to a nice cardigan.

The driving force behind Het Pastorie Lokaal is entrepreneur Pauline Gimbrère. Together with Hanneke Deneef, she is the face of the store. Ticket to Tilburg had to buy a present for a friend's birthday, so we dropped in for a present and a good chat.

What do people come to your store for?

Hanneke: "For distinctive, humorous and local products."

What is your specialty?

Pauline: "The specialty of Het Pastorie Lokaal is that we are an accessible store where young and old are welcome and where there is definitely something for everyone. You come here to shop but also definitely to browse in a relaxed atmosphere."

What is typically Tilburgian about your store?

Pauline: "That would be the local products. We work a lot with artists and entrepreneurs from the area. Besides the Kruikezeiker that you see on various goodies for the proud Tilburger, there are various goodies from and about Tilburg. Among others, the Kusje van Marie, the Tilburg Wijck posters, Tilburg Bicycle Bell, Tilburg clock and beautiful jewelry from Tilburg entrepreneurs are very popular."
