Prins S. en De Geit

Long ago in the royal city of The Hague, Prince S. resided in a tower forty-two stories high, named 'Het Strijkijzer' (The Flatiron). Composer/producer Marne also found a safe haven there. They often ran into each other in the communal spaces, and thus a beautiful friendship blossomed.

During their ping-pong matches, they got talking about goats and music. After hearing Prince S's demo 'Nacht' (Night), Marne was so enthusiastic that they decided to collaborate. Beat professor Daniel tirelessly tinkers with the electronic buttons and sliders, guitar-goat Marne plays his guitar into the heavens after a miraculous resurrection, and Prince S. poetically sings about taking flight into the night. Prince S. and De Geit (The Goat) made a remarkable entrance into the music world, with performances at festivals such as Noorderslag, Appelpop, and Lowlands. After a sold-out club tour this autumn, Prince S. and De Geit return to the pop venues in March. Stream the album, practice your lyrics, and don't forget your sandwich; they need much-needed bread.

This evening will be provided by the eclectic, poetic collective Droom Dit (Dream This). Inspired by acts like Spinvis, Radiohead, King Krule, Joy Division, and Wende, the band brings raw electronic beats filled with dreamy guitar lines and cutting synthesizers enriched with poetic lyrics about sex, violence, love, but also the ordinariness of life.
