8x tips for the Easter weekend

It's almost Easter already, which means we can enjoy a nice, long weekend! A good reason to go out and have a great time. That's why we've made a list of what you can do this weekend in (and around) Tilburg. Happy Easter!

Walking routes

Tilburg has plenty of nature reserves, so there is no need to sit inside! You can go out on your own of course, but there are also lots of routes you can follow. The only thing you have to do is put on your walking shoes.
Natuurmonumenten has everything ready for you. Check out the cycling and walking routes in and around Tilburg on the website or download the free route app. Besides the routes, the website and the app of Natuurmonumenten are packed with information about the nature reserves. Everything in one!

Vossenstreken app

If you're going to walk with children, then the Vossenstreken app is ideal. Really get in touch with nature, carry out tasks and learn something new. Together with virtual guide Robin, you can go on a voyage of discovery through your own environment.

Walk with live performances

Don't know yet with whom you want to go out? Brabant Maatjes, Avondje Uit and Next Up have found a solution. They are organizing the Echte Tilburgse Wandeltocht. The walk will take place on Sunday, April 4 and anyone between 18 and 35 years can register. When you register, you will be assigned a walking buddy and a time slot between 1pm and 4pm. Along the way you will pass various acts that have to do with Tilburg and the history of the city. In this way you will not only get to know someone new, but you will also get to know the city better!

If you're done walking for a while, you can also hit the water. In the Piushaven there are several boats for rent that you can use independently. Student houses and groups of friends will probably have to wait, but households can already get started. Do you see yourself in a boat this weekend, check out the arrangements of Schippersvolk, Tilburg te Water and Aqua Fun 4 You

Something exciting is happening in the Spoorzone. RAW and Ontdekstation013 are organizing the Easter Bunny Game Hunt. Children can join the treasure hunt on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Monday 5th of April between 10am and 3pm. The costs are € 5, - per child. Afterwards they get a nice memory to take home.

GPS Easter treasure hunt

Uitspanning de Zeven Geitjes are also organizing something fun. They have set out a GPS Easter treasure hunt in the Stadsbos013 that you can do with the family for €7.50 on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. At the food truck you can get something to eat or drink and the toilets are also available. Ideal!

Crafts with Zoef

You can also get started right now. Zoef the Easter Bunny is at Restaurant Harboury in the Piushaven and he needs your help. Help Zoef decorate the Easter eggs and you'll have a chance to win a mega chocolate Easter bunny! Hand in your most beautifully decorated hard-boiled egg no later than Sunday, April 4 for a chance to win. When you hand in your egg, you will receive a gift from the lucky dip barrel.

Easter offers

After a long walk or a relaxing boat trip you could use something delicious. The hospitality industry in Tilburg is ready to serve you. With or without an Easter deal, you can pick up something at various establishments. Need inspiration? Take a look at the list of all the deals you don't want to miss.
