Kaapstad is a free art festival in Tilburg. From August 10 to 20, 2023 artists take over the city center for three days. Be surprised by intriguing installations, crazy concoctions, idiotic ideas and compelling performances (sometimes quite literally). Kaapstad makes creative use of the city, its people and its things. They poke and prod, turn things around, and fight entrenched ideas.
Kaapstad is taking over the pedestrian area of downtown Tilburg. From Stadhuisplein to Pieter Vreedeplein and from Piusplein through Heuvelstraat. But beyond that, keep your eyes open and be amazed! The art festival is free to visit.
