Ontdekstation013: The Discovery Club

The start date of the Discovery Club has been postponed until after the May holidays. This new initiative of Ontdekstation013 now starts on the 14th of May and children can still sign up.

The aim of the Discovery Club is to give even more children the chance to get involved in technology and discover what you can do with it.

Children get to work with woodwork, film technique and electricity. Of course in a way that suits their age. They learn carpentry, sawing, screwing and making wood connections and put together their own piece of wood. In addition, they are going to make a vlog: what's involved and how do you use the green screen? They will also be asked how they can generate their own electricity.  Every week there will be a fun afternoon around the theme 'science & technology' for 8 weeks.

Children who want to participate don't have to be bulldozers or already know a lot about technology. Anyone who likes to try out new things can join in. The Discovery Club starts on 14 May and is open every Thursday afternoon from 3.30pm to 5pm. It's 8 afternoons, total costs € 80,- including ranja and something tasty.   More information
