Artist Willem de Haan is currently residing at SEA Foundation. He will present his works in an exhibition as part of the longer-term research on art and sustainability. Opening on 23rd October 1 - 5 pm.
In ‘fold #02 on Commons’ he collaborates with Tudor Bratu, and The Balcony from the Hague is also involved in the project.
Willem de Haan tries to evoke a moment of absurdity, alienation and confusion in his work. He sees images and artistic interventions as scripts for public spaces because with the presence of an additional image something changes in the daily life on the streets.
De Haan’s contribution to fold #02 on Commons explores different perspectives on copying and appropriating imagery as a form of collective labor.
