Zemlinsky Quartet
This concert is part of the European Clarinet Congress, co-organised by Fontys Academy of Arts. The European Clarinet Congress is an annual international event which will take place in the Netherlands for the first time in years!
The Zemlinsky Quartet is one of the foremost representatives of the Czech string quartet tradition. With numerous prizes, including the First Grand Prix in Bordeaux and the Audience Award in London, the quartet has established itself as a world-class ensemble. The Zemlinsky Quartet plays a wide repertoire, from classical masters to contemporary composers, and has built up an impressive discography, including Dvořák's complete string quartets.
